Dear Colleagues and Friends of the Ferrocene Colloquium!

It is our pleasure to invite you to Ruhr University Bochum to the 2025 Edition of the Ferrocene Colloquium. This meeting was initiated in 2003 in Kassel by a small number of PIs, all working on ferrocene chemistry. Since then, it has grown in size and scope, and after a first stop in Bochum in 2010 the Meeting now returns to Bochum for its 19th Edition. The Ferrocene Colloquium in 2025 is kindly supported by the Excellence Cluster RESOLV.

The Ferrocene Colloquium is intended for (mostly) Early Career Researchers to present and discuss their work in talks and posters in a friendly and casual atmosphere. Topics include organometallic chemistry, both of main group and transition metal compounds. A view towards applications (e.g. in Materials, Catalysis, or Biology) is as welcome as mere blue-sky research - as long as your compound has at least one metal-carbon bond.
